Tri-Valley One-Stop Career Center is pleased to offer a wide range of
employment services to the business community: and most of them at “no

include:
- Human Resources Consultation including assistance
with HR issues, outplacement services, labor market information, and
others.
- Assistance with Filling Your Job Vacancies with no-charge
or low-cost resources including on-site recruitment services and online
job resources. Please call (888) 411-HIRE to contact a local business
services representative.
- Assistance in locating business funding such as small
business funding, On-the-Job Training Program, Welfare-to-Work, and
others.
- Assistance in locating local business resources including
finding SCORE, SBA, EDAB, and others.

During our time in the Tri-Valley, we have partnered with
a number of local businesses to offer employment and recruitment services.

- Collaborated on two major career fairs with the Safeway Corporation
(Retail), which led to over 800 applicant pre-screens and 323 hires;
- Pre-screened over 80 applicants through a partnership with Kaiser
Permanente through a coordinated career fair;
- Coordinated onsite recruitment event for Southwest Airlines involving
pre-screening of 50+ applicants;
- Provided outplacement services for approximately 250 dislocated
employees from AT&T, Cingular Wireless, and Blaze Networks;
- Coordinated with Comcast for onsite recruitment events, involving
prescreening of 90+ applicants.

Currently, we continue to actively collaborate with
local businesses as well as to develop new partnerships in the community.
Some of the major events include:
- Collaborated on a successful on-site career fairs with
12 local employers and employment agencies - Allied Security, Comcast,
Fedex, Fremont Bank, Kaiser, Safeway, UC Berkeley, UPS, CLP Resources,
Dynamic Solutions, Robert Half Technology, and E-Big. 138 participants
attended this event;
- Coordinated a series of on-site recruitment events with Comcast,
Aerotek, Landmark Security, drawing over 280 participants. Will continue
to host more of these events;
- Collaborate with a partner One-Stop to host a succession of recruitments
for Auction Drop, with 100 job openings.
