Business and Employment Events
Currently, we continue to actively collaborate with
local businesses as well as to develop new partnerships in the community.

Some of the major events include:
- Collaborate on a successful on-site career fair in April with
32 local employers and employment agencies - Allied Security, Comcast,
Fedex, Fremont Bank, Kaiser, Safeway, UC Berkeley, UPS, CLP Resources,
Dynamic Solutions, Robert Half Technology, and E-Big. 138 participants
attended this event;
- Coordinate a series of on-site recruitment events with Comcast,
Aerotek, Landmark Security, drawing over 280 participants. Will continue
to host more of these events; and,
- Collaborate with a partner One-Stop to host a succession of recruitments
for Auction Drop, with 100 job openings.
We collaborated with over 30 local businesses in
local recruitment events, involving over 600 potential applicants. We
are dedicated to assisting local businesses to access available resources
as we continue to develop new partnerships in the community. Some of
the major events included:
- Offered State-funded on-the-job training program services to companies
such as Old Republic Home Protection and AcuTrack
- Collaborated on two major custom training events - Train-the-Trainer
workshop for the management staff at Kobe Precision; ESL upgrade training
services for the Alameda County Fair
- Coordinated on-site special presentations about hiring practices
by UC Berkeley
